The Marksman Specimen Avon 11ft 6in is the more powerful brother rod to the Specialist Avon, with a faster action and more power in the butt section to suit modern methods and bigger specimen fish. This makes it ideal for fishing standard feeders, PVA bags and method feeders.

The Marksman Specimen Avon isn’t just a river rod though - it can be used for countless different uses on many stillwaters. Feeder fishing, legering and float fishing for specimen fish are all a great experience using this high-modulus, beautifully slim Avon. The Hardy Anti-Lock action gives the angler tremendous confidence when playing fish close to the net, enabling big fish to be quickly controlled in tight situation.
