The Classic rods are styled with the more traditional approach associated with the original Bruce and Walker carp rods or the archetypal trout rod.

Aimed at the more discerning angler of a ‘certain age’ they incorporate a full length slim cork handle constructed of the highest quality fine cork.

The reel seat has been personally designed by Dave, using zebra hardwood for the barrel and utilising Fuji fittings to create a traditional feel with the best quality components. The Max-Lite guides used on these rods are ultra slim silicone carbides set into a lightweight twin leg stainless steel frame, whipped in place with high quality silk thread.

The Burgundy thread has been chosen to compliment the classic mustard/cane finish of the blanks.

The high modulus carbon blanks themselves have been put through a rigorous testing program on the bank by Dave and have then been further developed using computer technology before re-testing and finally passed by Dave prior to the final cosmetic build. The rods are capable of casting huge distances and yet retaining the responsive and progressive playing action fitting of a rod of this design.

Produced in the following sizes we have aimed to cover all possible scenarios, including the 10’10” stalker/floater model which is aimed at the serious floater angler and stalker alike. The 10/10 range would also make an ideal set of rods for the angler fishing smaller and more intimate venues.
