The GXR Series takes many of the features found on our most expensive poles. Nanolith construction, Sun Core,Fusion and Magic Step top kits are all included in this series, plus the brilliant Genis System that lets you select top kits and spare sections to suit your style of fishing. Suitable for match carp fishing with strong elastics the Pro 2000 and Pro 1000 also make excellent silver fish poles for match fishing.

PRESTON GXR1000 POLE

Developed by Preston to give unrivalled performance in its price range, the GXR 1000 comes at 16m, with a short GXR Smart extension which fits between the 13m and 14.5m sections.

Its stiff action makes it a perfect all round pole and due to the range of Genis top kits available, it doesn’t matter if your next match is on a commercial or a canal, by choosing the Match or Power kits the GXR 1000 is equipped for either.

The GXR 1000 has a Sun Core anti friction finish, which makes shipping at longer lengths easy and keeps the pole surface cool in hot weather.
