Shimano Aerocast Match AX Blanks

The Aerocast Match was the first Shimano match rod to feature the revolutionary oval blank technology. The oval blank profile produces a softer action for fish-playing when the rod is held to the side and a more powerful action when the rod is held up for better casting and netting performance. For 2011 the Aerocast Match has been developed further and now uses HPC (High Pressure Carbon) technology with a blend of XT200 carbon and Biofibre.

 This produces a very resonsive blank with more finesse and control. The Aerocast is fitted with top quality Fuji Alconite guides, a custom screw reel seat and a power cork handle. Available in four lengths, with different choices of actions, the Aerocast Match is one of the most advanced match rods available and will satisfy the most demanding angler.
