After introducing the Navi XSA in 2005, Shimano had immediate requests to introduce the Baitrunner Spool System into the range. The 8000 size, with its large line capacity, Aero Wrap and 2-speed oscillation systems, create an extremely flat line lay that can be adjusted to suit your own preference using the variable line lay system.
